Samsung may supply screens for Apple’s first foldable iPhone: Report

Samsung Display president Lee Chong has confirmed that production of the 8.6-generation OLED panels will begin next year, and also revealed plans to supply foldable OLED phone screens to a north American client, widely speculated to be Apple.
Lee stated that preparations have begun to supply organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens for foldable phones to clients, but did not disclose specifics of the deal and the clients involved, per the report by Chosun Biz.
