All You Need to Know About Bit N Build 2025 

Bit N Build is an international hackathon conducted by Google Developer Student Clubs at Fr.  Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (CRCE), Mumbai, in collaboration with 25+  national and international colleges. It is one of India’s most recognized hackathons, offering  students a platform to innovate, collaborate, and showcase their talent. 

Over the years, Bit N Build has become a flagship event: 

• 2500+ registrations in its last edition 
• 200+ teams competing for innovation 
• Recognized as one of the best hackathons in Mumbai 
• 1,65,000+ website impressions 

This year, Bit N Build 2025 is bigger than ever, with prelims already completed across multiple  states and countries. Now, all eyes are on Maharashtra—the last and final state prelims before  the Grand Finale in Mumbai. 

Rules and Guidelines 

Preliminary Round – Maharashtra Focus 

• Round 1 is open to all colleges in Maharashtra and will be held online for 24 hours. • Winners will qualify directly for the final round at CRCE, Mumbai. Eligibility 
• Open to all students pursuing a bachelor’s degree. 
• Participants must compete in the Maharashtra preliminary round. 

Registration Fees 

• ₹200 per team 

Team Formation 

• Teams of 2–4 members (no individual participation). 
• Members may belong to different colleges, but all colleges must be from Maharashtra.

Grand Finale at CRCE, Mumbai 

The final round is a 24-hour offline hackathon, hosted at Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of  Engineering, Bandra, Mumbai, where the best teams from across India and abroad will come  together to compete for the Bit N Build 2025 championship. 

Code of Conduct & Submissions 

• Maintain a respectful and inclusive environment. 
• All projects must be original and built during the 24 hours. 
• GitHub commits must be made every 3 hours. 
• Submissions should include a project description, demo, and documentation. Judging Criteria 

Projects will be evaluated on: 

• Creativity & Innovation 
• Technical Complexity 
• Practical Impact 
• Presentation Quality 

Maharashtra – Last Call to Register 

With all other states and international prelims completed, Maharashtra is the final gateway to  the Grand Finale.
