All that you need to know about EnVenture 2.0: Business Plan Competition
Are you ready to turn waste into wealth? Enventure 2.0 by Enactus Hindu is a unique social entrepreneurship challenge where teams bid on real-world waste materials and transform them into scalable business models.
From strategic bidding in a high-stakes auction to navigating a surprise entrepreneurial challenge, this competition pushes teams to think beyond conventional business plans and develop real-world impact solutions.
Guidelines:
- Each team should have a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 members.
- All participants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate program to be eligible.
- Cross-college teams are permitted.
- A participant may only be a member of one team.
- All submissions must be in PDF format.
- Plagiarism and copyright infringement will be strictly monitored. Any such violations may result in immediate disqualification.
- Information regarding the event will be shared exclusively with the designated team leader after registration.
- The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the event’s time and venue based on allotments. Any changes will be duly communicated to participants through an official group.
- Teams that fail to comply with the stated rules and regulations will be disqualified from the competition.
- The decisions made by the organizing committee will be final and binding on all participants.
Round 1:
- The quiz round will be conducted on Unstop where participants must answer 25 questions within 20 minutes.
- The quiz will cover topics related to sustainability, social entrepreneurship and emerging trends in the business landscape.
- The questions will be in the form of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), case studies, one-word answers and picture-based questions.
- The quiz will take place on 11th March, 2025 and participants can attempt it anytime between 1:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
- Submissions from any other ID other than the team leader will not be accepted.
- Qualification for the next round will be based on both speed and accuracy. Only a limited number of teams will advance further.
Round 2:
- The shortlisted teams will participate in a dutch auction scheduled for 12th March, 2025.
- Details for the same will be communicated only to the team leaders through email and official chat group.
- Participants will be allocated an initial budget and will engage in a dynamic bidding process, selecting a waste category of their choice as its price progressively decreases.
- The chosen waste category will serve as the foundation for developing an innovative and sustainable product or service.
- Teams must submit a concise PowerPoint presentation (in PDF form) by 19th March, 2025, 11:59 PM IST.
- The presentation should be a maximum of 5 pages (excluding introduction and conclusion slide). It should include – Problem Statement and Solution, Business Model, USP, Impact, SWOT Analysis and Financial Model. PDF should be named EnVenture_”team name”.
- Submissions have to be made on unstop by the Team Leader.
Round 3:
- Shortlisted teams will progress to the third and final round of the competition which will take place on 22nd March, 2025 at the Hindu College campus. Teams will deliver their pitches before a distinguished panel of judges.
- All relevant details regarding the final round will be shared with the team leader via the official chat group.
- The judges’ decisions will be final and binding, ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process.
- The top three teams will be awarded prizes in recognition of their innovative ideas and exceptional performance.
- The winning team will get an internship opportunity with Broomees – A Shark Tank India Startup
