tata consultancy services: Amazon leads H-1B visa approvals in early 2025; TCS, Microsoft, Meta close behind

Amazon has secured the top spot for the highest number of H-1B visa approvals in the first half of 2025 (H1 2025), according to the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). The ecommerce giant received 10,044 approvals by June 30, 2025.
Technology firms have been the biggest users of the H-1B visa programme. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) followed Amazon, with over 5,000 approved visas in H1 2025. Other major companies on the list include Microsoft, Meta, Apple, and Google.
