TCS denies losing UK’s Marks & Spencer contract over £300 million cyberattack

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has refuted claims made in a recent UK media report linking the company to major cyberattack failures at global retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S). An article in The Telegraph had alleged that M&S terminated contracts with TCS over a £300 million cyberattack.
In a clarification to stock exchanges on Monday, TCS termed the report ‘misleading’ and ‘factually inaccurate’, including the size of the contract and the continuity of its work with M&S.
