Unacademy’s valuation might have dropped sharply, falling below $500 million from $3.5 billion in 2021, cofounder Gaurav Munjal said on Wednesday.
“Three years ago, I used to care a lot about this, which probably led us to make some bad decisions — this chase of valuation. But today I care more about building great products, having great unit economics, and growing profitably,” Munjal said in a post on X.
