Tejasvi Manoj, an Indian American teenager from Frisco, Texas, has been named the 2025 Kid of the Year by TIME and TIME for Kids. The 17-year-old digital defender is recognised for her service work, teaching digital literacy to protect seniors from cybercrime.
She developed a website called Shield Seniors. It is designed to educate older adults about cybercrime. Manoj was inspired to create the initiative after her own grandfather was targeted by an online scam.
