Zerodha announces final $675,000 tranche for FLOSS projects

Zerodha has announced the second and final tranche of investment of $675,000 in its $1 million annual fund supporting Free / Libre and Open Source Software (FOSS / FLOSS) projects globally.

” Along with the $325,000 from the first tranche, this brings the total to $1 million for the year,” wrote chief technology officer (CTO) Kailash Nadh in a blog post.

The fund will invest in developer tools, consumer apps, programming languages and libraries, and humanitarian and social-impact work.
