Geysers, Footwear Seized From Amazon & Flipkart Warehouses

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) seized over 3,500 electronic products worth INR 70 Lakh from Amazon’s Delhi warehouse for lack of legitimate ISI markings

In case of Flipkart, the agency seized 590 sports footwear packed without ISI marks and date of manufacturing worth around INR 6 Lakh

This marked the third instance of BIS conducting such an operation against the ecommerce giants within the month of March
