X-rival Bluesky rolls out official verification system

Blue ticks have come to Bluesky. The microblogging website has rolled out the widely popular social media feature to add a visual element to verified accounts.
Under the existing arrangement, Bluesky allows individuals and organisations to set their domain name as their username. Since 2023, over 270,000 accounts have linked their Bluesky usernames to their website, the social media platform claimed in an update. This verification feature will remain active on the platform.
