Amitesh Kumar Sinha appointed new CEO of India Semiconductor Mission

Amitesh Kumar Sinha has been appointed as the chief executive of the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), the ISM announced on Monday. Sinha, who was earlier this month named an additional secretary at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), takes over from Sushil Pal at the ISM.This appointment comes at a crucial phase as the government is readying to launch the second phase of the India Semiconductor Mission.
