Pakistani cyber attackers target key Indian defence sites; AVNL goes offline

Pakistani cyber attackers have claimed responsibility for targeting key Indian defence entities, including the Military Engineering Service and the Institute of Defence Studies & Analysis, sources told CNBC-TV18.

According to the sources, the attackers also attempted to deface the website of the Armoured Vehicle Nigam Ltd (AVNL), a state-run defence PSU involved in armoured vehicle manufacturing. In response, Indian authorities took the AVNL website offline to conduct a comprehensive security audit.
