Tesla is planning to set its completely knocked down (CKD) plant in the city of Satara near Pune

The development comes after its discussion with Megha Engineering and other companies to acquire land in joint venture has fallen apart

The company has already leased a coworking space in Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC)

Moving closer to its India entry, EV giant Tesla is reportedly planning to set up an assembly unit in Maharashtra’s Satara.
