Deeptech startup Sthyr Energy raises $1 million from Speciale Invest, Antares Ventures

Sthyr Energy, a deeptech startup developing energy storage systems, has raised $1 million in seed funding from early-stage investor Speciale Invest, with Antares Ventures also participating.

Founded by Gunjan Kapadia, Akhil Kongara and Muhammed Hamdan, researchers from IIT Madras, Sthyr is developing mechanically rechargeable Zinc-Air battery systems designed for long-duration and seasonal storage.
