Billionaire Elon Musk is changing the rules for advertisers on X (formerly Twitter), starting with how much space their ads take up.

In a post on Friday, Musk announced that X will begin charging advertisers based on the vertical size of their ads. “An ad that takes up the whole screen would cost more than an ad that takes up 1/4 of the screen,” Musk wrote, arguing that the move is meant to discourage “giant ads that impair the user experience.”
