Indian govt to waive spectrum dues from own departments, over ₹6 lakh crore

India’s Union Cabinet is likely to have approved a significant one-time waiver on spectrum dues, amounting to over ₹6 lakh crore, for government departments such as Defence, Railways, and Space, according to official sources. The waiver, however, will not extend to public sector units (PSUs) or private telecom players.
