AMD is aiming to make artificial intelligence more accessible by expanding its AI capabilities beyond large data centres to everyday laptops and gaming devices.

“We’re getting regular software updates out, making it easier to run AI on AMD—not just on big GPUs in the data centre, but also on laptops and Radeon gaming cards,” said Mark Papermaster, Chief Technology Officer at AMD, in an exclusive interview with CNBC-TV18.
