Microsoft cofounder Bill Gates is no longer one of the world’s top 10 richest people, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. His net worth has fallen even below former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, to $124 billion.
Gates’ current wealth marks a drop of nearly 30% from over $175 billion, placing him in 12th position, while Ballmer holds 5th position.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk retains his position as the world’s richest person, with a net worth of $346 billion, according to the index.
