Meta introduces slew of new Instagram features including Reposts, Map, and Friends Tab

Meta is testing new social features on Instagram, including reposting, location sharing, and a “Friends” tab in the Reels section.
The new Repost feature on Instagram applies to public reels and feed posts, the company blog read.
The algorithm works such that it recommends the feeds from the user’s friends and followers, which is recorded as a separate tab on the Instagram profile for future visits.
The feature draws similarities with LinkedIn, as users can also add a note while reposting by typing into the thought bubble that appears on screen…
