Girish Mathrubootham exits Freshworks: A timeline of the SaaS major’s 15-year journey

Girish Mathrubootham, who founded Nasdaq-listed software-as-a-service (SaaS) company Freshworks in 2010, will step down as executive chairman effective December 1, 2025, marking the end of a 15-year journey.

The Freshworks founder said he will now steer his attention towards the Together Fund, the venture capital firm he cofounded with Eka Software founder Manav Garg, and mentoring.
