Startups raised around $180.3 million between August 30 and September 5, a 28.3% increase from the $140.6 million raised during the same period last year, according to data from Tracxn.
The tally was also more than double the $88.9 million raised the previous week.
Deal activity, however, fell on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, with 19 transactions recorded this week compared with 51 a year earlier.
