Agritech startup Deep Rooted raised $12.5 million in Series A led by IvyCap

Agritech startup Deep Rooted raised $12.5 million in Series A led by IvyCap where existing investors Accel, Omnivore, and Mayfield also participated.

Deep Rooted intends to use the funds to expand its operations in southern India, strengthen its technology stack, and hire talent across marketing, technology, and business development teams over the next year. Deep Rooted claims that with the help of its greenhouse network, the startup can deliver fresh produce while using fewer resources than traditional farms.
