Energy storage startup AmpereHour Energy has raised $5 million (about Rs 43.6 crore) from climate focused fund Avaana Capital, with participation from UC Impower, and some existing angel investors.

The Mumbai-based startup plans to use the funds to expand manufacturing and software capabilities, support research and development (R&D), and drive product development.
