Apple may shift all US iPhone production to India by 2026

Apple is considering a major overhaul of its global supply chain—one that could make India the sole manufacturing hub for all iPhones shipped to the US as early as 2026, CNBC-TV18 has learnt.
The decision, however, is contingent on India’s ability to scale up production rapidly and the direction of US-China trade relations, according to people familiar with the matter.
Apple is targeting the production of up to 40 million iPhones in India next year.
