AWS backs spacetech opportunity in India; expands accelerator programme

Amazon Web Services (AWS) on Tuesday launched the AWS Space Accelerator (APJ 2025), a 10-week programme aimed at supporting early and growth-stage startups in the space sector across India, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The company sees a big opportunity in India as the country’s space industry is expected to grow from $8.4 billion in 2022 to $44 billion by 2033, as per the FICCI-EY report, it said in a statement.
