Bike taxis: Karnataka in no mood to relent on its stand, say sources

Karnataka has no plans to review its ban on bike taxis, official sources said, as app-based aggregators and hundreds of bike taxi operators pursue their demand, hoping for a favourable outcome.They are hopeful of a likely relief either from the government or the courts after the Karnataka High Court extended its deadline to June 15 to cease bike taxi operations. The April 29 interim relief came on petitions from Rapido, Ola and Uber.
