Decoding agentic AI gold rush

About a dozen startups had set up stalls at a developer community event in Bengaluru recently to showcase their portfolio with most working on agentic AI ranging from simplifying creation of AI agents to building mobile applications. Needless to say, this is the flavour of the season and is attracting huge investor interest.

As per data from Tracxn, a market intelligence platform, of the 68 startups in the agentic AI space, half were founded in 2023 and 2024. These startups cumulatively raised $44 million till date, the data showed.
