Indian startups raised about $914.4 million in funding between August 1 and 29, marking a 47.8% decrease from the full month last year, when they had raised a total of $1.7 billion across 178 rounds.
This month, startups, primarily in the seed, early, and late stages, secured funding through 88 rounds, according to data from market intelligence platform Tracxn.
In July 2025, startups raised around $586.3 million from 97 rounds.
Last week — from August 23 to August 29 — startups raised around $88.9 million.
