Fidji Simo to head OpenAI’s apps division; terms AI as world’s biggest opportunity engine

Fidji Simo, the incoming chief executive officer (CEO) of applications at OpenAI, said artificial intelligence (AI) will unlock more opportunities for more people than any other technology in history, in a note to the employees.
Simo was CEO at Instacart, an American grocery delivery platform, before taking up the offer from OpenAI.
