Fresh + Vite Means 9-12x Faster Development for Deno

Fresh, the web framework for Deno, now officially integrates with the frontend build tool Vite via a new plugin, enabling boot times that are 9-12 times faster, depending on the project size.

“With the new plugin, Fresh can now optionally run as a Vite plugin, giving developers access to hot module reloading, the full Vite plugin ecosystem, and modern tooling for both client and server code — all while remaining fully usable without Vite,” wrote Deno software engineer Marvin Hagemeister.
