GSMA elects Bharti Airtel’s Gopal Vittal as chairman until 2026

The GSMA Board of Directors has elected Gopal Vittal, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Bharti Airtel, as its new Chairman. Vittal, who was serving as Acting Chair, will now formally lead the global telecom body until the end of 2026.
