Hyperlocal community app Shuru raises Rs 29 crore in round led by Krafton India

Indore-based hyperlocal community platform Shuru has raised Rs 29 crore in a funding round led by Krafton India.
The round also saw Shuru’s existing backers, including Omidyar Network India and Eximius Ventures, participate.
Krafton India is the local unit of the South Korean maker of Battlegrounds Mobile India. The investment adds to Krafton India’s $200 million-plus commitment to Indian startups since 2021, largely across gaming, entertainment and allied sectors.
