India ranks 8th in global digitalisation index, but gaps remain: ICRIER-Prosus Report

India is ranked 8th out of 32 countries in digitalisation, according to the latest CHIPS Index by the ICRIER-Prosus Centre for Internet and Digital Economy (IPCIDE). The report, ‘State of India’s Digital Economy (SIDE) 2025,’ shows India ahead of Japan, Brazil, Australia, and Mexico but behind the US (1st), China (2nd), the UK (4th), and Germany (7th).
