ISRO’s 101st satellite mission fails due to technical glitch in PSLV-C61 rocket in 3rd stage

The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) 101st satellite launch encountered a setback on Sunday, May 18, as the mission to deploy the Earth observation satellite (EOS-09) onboard the PSLV-C61 rocket could not be completed due to a pressure issue in the third stage.

“Today 101st launch was attempted, PSLV-C61 performance was normal till 2nd stage. Due to an observation in 3rd stage, the mission could not be accomplished,” ISRO said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
