Most UAE residents worried about hacking as cyberattack threat looms

A recent Cisco survey of general consumers in the UAE revealed that the majority of respondents are increasingly concerned about their connected devices being hacked and attacked.
The survey of 1,001 consumers identified “red flags” that consumers should be aware of, especially as the country moves toward digitisation. The survey found that respondents are “concerned” about cyber-attacks, with 73% concerned about their personal devices being hacked. According to the survey, 66 percent of the UAE population uses personal devices to send work emails, while 57 percent uses personal devices to make business calls.
