Niva Bupa says hacker claims to have stolen sensitive user data

Insurer Niva Bupa on Friday, January 21, reported that it was the victim of a cybersecurity breach. In a stock exchange notification, Niva Bupa said it received an anonymous email claiming that the sender is in possession of customer information.
In the notification, Niva Bupa said it is investigating this claim and taking measures to mitigate any potential risks.
