Kavin Bharti Mittal’s gaming platform Rush will shut down operations in India following the government’s move to impose a blanket ban on real-money games (RMG) under the newly cleared Online Gaming Bill.
Announcing the decision in a detailed Substack post, Mittal, founder and CEO of Hike, the company behind Rush, said the government’s position had become unambiguous: RMG will not be allowed in India.
