PhysicsWallah Kota centre manager fired after scuffle between management and students

Edtech platform PhysicsWallah fired the manager of one of its coaching centres in Kota after a video of a scuffle between a student and management went viral on social media.

A man, presumably a member of the startup’s management staff, can be seen pushing a student around the scene in the video circulating on Instagram. The video, which was posted by the Instagram account @ithappensinkota, has received over 60K views. The PW staff in the video is said to be a part of the Student Welfare Society (SWS), which is part of PhysicsWallah’s HR & Admin function. Their responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the center’s coaching staff, managing relationships with students and schools, and overseeing aspects such as food and hostel facilities.
