Sam Altman to meet PM Modi to make a case for using OpenAI tech, says MeitY secretary

S Krishnan, Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), on Tuesday said the government is trying to strike a balance between using open-source models to build the country’s first foundational artificial intelligence model, and harnessing the power of existing models, such as OpenAI’s models.
