Tech jobs lead India’s hiring market despite slowdown: Report

Tech was among the drivers of recruitment even as overall hiring has slowed, with a 21% decline since it peaked in January 2023, according to a report by global job matching and hiring platform Indeed.
While growth in tech hiring was not the fastest compared to some emerging sectors, it remained steady, with software development postings rising by 9.2% over the past three months. Data & analytics sector saw the highest growth in listings, up 15.4% during the same period.
