The Grep Command in Linux

Linux is powerful, flexible and user-friendly.

That’s right, I said it … user-friendly.

Although you might not think this, one of the reasons why Linux is so user-friendly (outside of the amazing desktop environments it has to offer) is the vast array of command-line tools it includes.

Did I really just say that?

I did.

There are certain Linux commands that help make the open source operating system very usable, and with those commands, the sky’s the limit to what you can accomplish.

One of those commands is grep.
