Threads brings Tags: How they are different from hashtags

Threads, the rival of Meta’s X, is adding hashtags to its platform with a focus on community building instead of engagement hacking. Instagram head Adam Mosseri announced the global rollout of the ability to tag topics on posts, making it easier for others to find and join conversations. Unlike other platforms, Threads tags do not require the ‘#’ symbol.
