UK finally approves Microsoft’s biggest gaming deal

The UK’s regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), has approved Microsoft’s $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard, the biggest gaming deal in history. The CMA cleared the deal after Microsoft restructured it to address concerns about competition in cloud gaming. As part of the deal, Microsoft will transfer cloud gaming rights for Activision Blizzard games to Ubisoft.
