Union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launches India’s first lithium-ion battery plant in Haryana

Whether it is camera modules, PCB assembly, semiconductors or batteries—every component will be manufactured in India over the coming years, said electronics and information technology minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Thursday while inaugurating an advanced lithium-ion battery plant in Haryana that is set to meet 40% of India’s annual domestic requirement.
