WhatsApp rolls out call scheduling, ‘raise hand’ and emoji reactions

WhatsApp on Monday announced a set of new features aimed at making its calling experience more organised and interactive.
Users can now schedule group calls in advance, either by inviting individuals or entire groups. Participants will receive notifications when the call is about to start, while the Calls tab will show a clear view of upcoming calls, attendee lists, and shareable call links. Call creators will also get alerts when someone joins via a shared link.
